Interior doors for a selfbuild project
Interior doors for a selfbuild project using the Vitrum door range - Interior doors are a vital part of the internal styling of any home; acting as the perfect divide to complement the surrounding décor for practicality and as a design feature.
This selfbuild project required the same style and complementing finish of internal doors throughout the property, but also needed to take into account individual positioning of the doors and the additional flowing light into some of the downstairs areas. By using the Vitrum style interior door with wood veneer side panels and fully glazed panelling from top to bottom, and by incorporating side and top lights, additional lighting could pour through into the room. The Vitrum door design was then incorporated throughout the house using a vertical wood veneer with cross banded veneer finish.
Manufactured specifically to the customer’s specifications to fit the exact size of the opening, all of the doors were supplied as complete door sets with architraves, handles, locks and escutcheons and come with quick and easy instruction details. All doors have been especially designed to maintain warmth, limit noise, protect against fire (although this doesn’t apply to all doors) and to provide security and privacy; doors are an essential component to any renovation or development project.
