Dates have now been announced for the official launch of the Kingspan Potton show barn which is currently being developed in St Neots.
The scaffolding has now been removed to reveal the beauty of the self-build project which will be completed in the coming weeks and officially launched to the public on the 8th May 2012.
The barn, which has been designed for open-plan spacious living with natural light flooding through the windows and bi folding door features, will once finished, house a number of advanced sustainable characteristics to create not only a lovely example of living but also the energy efficiency which can be achieved by such a home.
Sunfold Systems windows were installed as part of the first fix at the back end of 2011 using our aluminium and timber combination frame system the SFCW which holds excellent U-values. The exterior doors were fitted over the past few weeks including a four panel aluminium bi folding door set using the SFK70 system as well as a mid-range SFK20:20 aluminium three panel bi fold set. The front door accompanied with side and top light glazing has also been installed, however, internal door sets will be fitted towards the end of the project ready for completion.
The show house provides Sunfold with another location for customers to view and test a selection of its thermally efficient window and door products along with the opportunity to meet with potential clients at both appointments and at dedicated open weekends for the public.
