sliding doors

sfk28 specification and details

SFK28 sliding stacking doors create an open, flexible and modern space for both living and working environments. An ideal solution for dividing rooms or office space and enclosing balconies.

Each panel of the SFK28 system works individually and stacks to one side so that you can have as much or as little of the glass wall open at any one time.

Dimensions

Panels can reach up to 2600mm in height and the maximum panel width is 1000mm.

Security

The SFK28 is accessed only from the inside via a tilt turn pass door. The door is secured by a silver handle which operates the multipoint locking mechanism (no key lock available due to its slim profiles). Each panel interlocks with the next, which creates slim visual profiles.

Weather proofing

The SFK28 system has a moderate weather rating and has brush piles to the top and bottom tracks.

Appearance

Fully adjustable aluminium frames can be coloured to suit your tastes. Standard finishes include silver anodised (EV1) and polyester powder coated white (RAL 9010 or 9016). RAL 7016 (Anthracite Grey) will be available from April 2007.

Glazing

Sealed glazed units of 24mm are accommodated in the SFK28. Our standard 24mm unit comprises two panes of 4mm clear toughened glass with a 16mm cavity. The inner pane is equipped with a thermally efficient Low E coating. Units are manufactured to BS6206a and BS5713. Many solar control and tinted glasses are also available.

Suspension

Panels are top hung (suspended) with a bottom guide.

Stacking arrangement

Each individual panel slides and stacks in a pre-determined position. The panels always stack to the inside.

Ventilation

The pass door also has a tilt mechanism when the handle is moved to a different position. This means the door panel will tilt in towards you for ventilation.
